LATE SHRI GIRDHARLAL C. SHETH

Late Shri Girdharlal C. Sheth (2.11.1914 to 25.11.1998). Shri G.C. Sheth was a visionary leader and a great philanthropist. It was his most deeply –held belief that the poor and downtrodden of this society could be lifted from their condition, given the right education and health care. Empathy is the word that immediately comes to our mind as we think of “ Sheth Kaka”. It’s defined as someone else‘s pain in your heart. He felt the pain and suffering of these poor and needy people of Dahod. He was deeply affected by the plight of the pavement dwellers he drove past on his way to work, this is the story of his vision which impacted many lives. It’s a story of love and dedication of a family that, for almost years now has made Dahod a healthier place to live in.
