The school was established by Dahod Anaj Mahajan Sarvajanik Education Society in the year 1960 as Kanya Vidyalaya. Girls' high school was started on 14th June 1960 from Std. 8 to 11 classes. After that in June 1962, girls' high school came into existence from Std. 5 to 11. At that time, the principal of Girls' High School was M.A Bhatt. On 21st August 1963, Girls' High School was renamed as ' Navjivan Girls' High School '. From June 1969, the government introduced a new education policy. As a result, classes from Std. 5 to 7 were separated as primary department. So the school was functioning as Navjivan Girls' Primary School. Sisters of a total of 11,207 students have completed their studies in the school from July 1969-70 to June 2020-21. The school functioning under the name of Navjivan Girls' Primary School was named after the donor Smt. Hasumatiben Girdharlal Sheth. From the year 3rd February 1987, it was handed over to Hasuben Girls' Primary School. with the circular of the Director of Primary Education, Gandhinagar dated 09-07-2012, from 11-06-2012, all the classes of Std. 5 were closed in the school and four classes of Std. 8 were started. At present total 12 classes of Std. 6 to 8 are functioning in the school. In which a total of 598 students are studying. Currently the school is functioning in the building of Navjivan Girls' High School. In which Hasuben Girls Primary School uses a total of 15 rooms for educational purposes.
